Join St. Dunstan’s to bag 10,000 meals for the poor! On Saturday, April 20, we will have our second bagging for “Stop Hunger Now,” the organization that provides the food for our lunch program at St. Andres in Haiti. Father Walin will be with us, as well as the founder of “Stop Hunger Now,” The Rev. Ray Buchanan! Local media will cover the event. We will also have youth from several churches in our Diocese. As we did before, we will split the cost and work with All Saints’ Day School. The event will be at All Saints’, 8060 Carmel Valley Road in the gym. Setup will be at 8:30, bagging to start at 9:30. There will be a BBQ lunch to follow. We need 20-25 volunteers to bag the 10,000 meals in 2 hours. We must also raise $1250 to pay for our half of the shipping. We are asking a $50-100 donation from anyone who wants to join us in bagging. Our youth will be having a bake sale the weekend before the event to raise money as well. Or, sponsor one of our youth to bag if you can’t bag yourself. This is a really fun event! At the end of two hours, you will know you have accomplished something important in the name of Our Lord. A good way to celebrate Easter!
